Skater Heading to World Championships from BPSN Sports

Avery Clark

Holy Cross celebrates an "Hour of Code"

This week is Computer Science Education week. During this week a movement takes place called The Hour of Code. The Hour of Code began as a one hour coding challenge to give students a fun first introducation to computer science and has become a global learning, celebration and awareness event. Computer science is changing every industry on the planet and every student should have the opportunity to learn how to program.

Mr. Potalivo will be hosting an "An Hour of Code" this Friday during the last period of the day. These sessions are intended to introduce people to the concept of programming in a fun and social way. This opportunity is for students who have little to no coding background but want a chance to see what it is about.
